On the narrow edge of the door there is one screw level with the lock. That is the fixing screw of the cylinder.
On the outside, hold a ruler or a straight piece of wood flat against the fitting.
Measuring tip
Hold a ruler or a straight piece of wood flat against the fitting, so that it sticks out past the edge of the door. Then measure from the wood to the centre of the screw. That way you measure straight and the size is easy to read.
Measure from the wood to the centre of the screw. That is size A.
Do the same on the inside of the door. That is size B.
We always round your measurement up to the next size. A cylinder that ends inside the fitting will jam.
Enter your measurements at steps 3 and 4. The drawing then shows your cylinder.
Unsure between two sizes? Take the larger one: too short will jam. If it does not fit after all, send it back within 14 days.
