Does the Motion fit my cylinder?

The Motion goes on the inside over the cylinder that is already in your door, and turns your key or thumb turn for you. So it does not come with a cylinder. Does it fit yours? Check three things.

See what is on the inside
A thumb turn, or a keyhole. With a thumb turn you take the knob off and a converter goes on the shaft; there are five, for different shafts.
Measure how far the cylinder protrudes
The cylinder must protrude at least 5 mm from the fitting. The base of the Motion grips around it.
Measure your key or knob
The part that sticks out may be at most 6 mm thick and 40 mm long. Otherwise it does not fit inside the Motion.

Handy in a rented home, or if you have just fitted a good cylinder.
Your key still works
From outside you open as always, or with the app.
